Here's a different take on Westminster and Whitehall. This is the very dawn of party politics and Sarah Jennings was the best Prime Minister we never had. The stars of this walk are 'Handsome Jack' Churchill, Queen Anne's ovaries, and 'sticky blood'. Samuel Johnson called Sarah 'a good hater', whose daughters tried to lock her up. Alexander Pope said to Sarah, "I wish everyone you love could love you, and am sorry for anyone who does not."
