Margaret Thatcher was a giant. The hair, the handbags and the rhetoric immediately made the Soviets her biggest fans - they dubbed her 'The Iron Lady'. Margaret blew away cob-webby post-war Britain, and probably saved the planet by persuading Ronald Reagan that Gorbachev could be trusted on glasnost. A political walk from Covent Garden to Westminster recalling the happy days of Red Ken, the miners' strike and the Poll Tax riot of 1990.
